We gather to grow our spiritual journeys.

Our Beginnings

We are five people from various faiths or spiritual practices who have been coming together for monthly breakfasts over a period of seven years to support each other on our spiritual journeys.

A man, wandering lost in the forest for several days, finally encountered another. He called out: “Brother, show me the way of this forest.” The man replied, “Brother, I, too, am lost. I can only tell you this: the ways I have tried lead nowhere. They have only led me astray. Take my hand and let us search for the way together.” Rabbi Hayim would add: “So it is with us. When we go our separate ways, we may go astray. Let us join hands and look for the way together.
— A Hasidic Tale
“The world cannot be discovered by a journey of miles, no matter how long, but only by a spiritual journey, a journey of one inch, very arduous and humbling and joyful, by which we arrive at the ground at our feet, and learn to be at home.”
— Wendell Berry
